Come join us for an academic seminar of Professor Thomas Meade! Prof. Meade is the Eileeen M. Foell Professor of Cancer Research and The Charles Deering McCormick Professor of Teaching Excellence. He is also a Professor of Molecular Biosciences, Neurobiology and Radiology at Northwestern University. His research stems from looking at coordination chemistry and its applications to bioinorganic problems. The problems he addresses include biological molecular imaging, electron transfer processes, the inhibition of Zn finger transcription factors and the development of electronic biosensors for the detection of DNA and proteins. Please come to learn more about the modern developments in this fascinating field of chemistry!
