Hiring Library Assistants

The University of Toronto Chemistry Library is pleased to be hiring 4 Library Assistants through UofT’s Work Study program this Fall.

About the Opportunity

Library Assistants will work onsite at the Chemistry Library service desk responding to user questions, helping users find they information, and managing loans & returns. Assistants will also support the maintenance of library collections, spaces, and online resources, as well as contributing to other special projects as assigned. Please visit the Career and Co-Curricular Learning Network (CLNX) website to learn more about duties and qualifications.

Compensation

$15.00/hour

Hours

5-8 hours/week, Monday to Friday. Regular shift schedules will be assigned each semester and designed to accommodate course schedules.

UTWSA Mentorship Opportunity

The University of Toronto Women’s Student Association is a student-run association with the mission of equipping self-identifying women with effective resources and empowering them to tackle their goals. The University of Toronto Women’s Student Association is proud to launch our Mentorship program! Mentees will be matched with a mentor based on either their desired industry or program of study. Your mentor could be from Facebook, RBC, L’Oréal, Accenture, Kraft, Startups, Bell,  Google or even professors at Uoft and Lawyers across various forms
